I found this by the side of a creek in Mill Valley behind several house. I know that it is a Fern, and I think it is a Lady Fern. but I am not positive. I have noticed that the Ferns near me are usually close to some water source, so I was not surprised when I found them by the creek.

This weekend I went to the San Francisco Arboretum, also known as San Francisco Botanical Gardens, in Golden Gate Park, where pianos were scattered all about and were being played by various musicians and guests. We loved walking around while listening to music. I saw bamboo trees, lots of ferns, roses, lavender, and many other plants and trees from all over the world. I was not able to take a picture but would like to go back this coming weekend. My sister and I may also we will try to go to San Bruno mountain for a hike and observation. This time we will take pictures.

My sister and I went on a walk in San Bruno mountain and saw lots of ferns, ivy, nasturtiums, and many other plants. We also saw a few birds and a couple of raccoons but we couldn't get close enough to take any pictures. They would just run away. Next time we will either go to Pier 39 to take pictures of the seals when my sister gets off work, or we will wake up earlier and go to a trail by our house.
