As a rule, fish taxonomy on iNaturalist is following Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes, that may not be entirely up-to-date and may change relatively often.
When the taxonomy is updated there, we will also update it on iNat.

Micropanchax is restricted to small species from the Nile basin. Lacustricula only has 2 species: lualabaensis and pumilus. For katangae and related species a new genus will be erected (Braganca & Costa, 2019). For the time being it is named "Lacustricola".
