Hi everyone!
We're off to a good start with this BioBlitz, with there being 150 observations and 80 species. Let's keep it coming!
A couple notes:
- Be aware of poison ivy, especially around the entrance and along the road. There are some thick patches, so I would recommend wearing long pants and close-toed shoes.
- We have pretty good coverage of the area between the Glynn Prairie sign and the lake. Going forward, we would love more observations in the Western and Southern parts of the SNA.
- We've got a few birds and insects documented, but I know we can find more. Any birders or entomologists out there?
That's it! Remember, we appreciate IDs if you can't make it to the site! And as always, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. SNA.DNR@state.mn.us
