Seeing these observations prompted me to take stock of the observations that show fish as prey. I'm sure here are many! The list below shows a single observation of 6 different predator types 'in action'.

And then there was this one where the prey (fish) became the ultimate predator, although at the expense of its own life - https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/21032380
Here's one of anAustralian Raven with a little fish.

An Australasian Darter fishing https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/40747889
Thank you for the reminder @wamoz. I saw the observation at the time but failed to add it to my predatioin listing. I agree - it's a cracker of an observation. Thanks again.
Hi @kalimata. Thank you very much for letting me know about your two observations, I appreciate that. I've commented on both requesting that you upload the images again as observation of the fishes. That way they can be added to the Australasian Fishes Project and my list of fish predators. :)
Uploading a couple of old pics of cuttlefish eating yakkas
Will do @markmcg. I am trying to find one more observation of a Pied Cormorant which was "fishing" and then I'll upload all again as observation of fishes.
@markmcg I've just uploaded the three observations - Darter, Pied Cormorant and Raven. Will remember with others in the future.
Thank you @dentrock. That's terrific. Any chance you can shoot through a url? This will allow be to update the above journal entry. :)
Wonderful news @kalimata. Perhaps it's a caching issue but I can't find your new observations. I had the same problem with the newly uploaded observations made by @dentrock. I'd be grateful if you could list the urls. Thank you very much. :)

Super thank you @kalimata. Much appreciated. :)
Here is an observation of mine. Australasian darter with yellowfin bream. Brisbane River near Customs House. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/34670835
I have now added an observation as yellowfin bream and added to the Australasian Fishes project with "fish as prey"

@markmcg, I tried to put boney fish as you suggested, but the system changed it to ray-finned fish. So I hope someone, more knowledgeable than I am about fish, can name them accurately.
I was scrolling through Black Bream obs and came across this one - https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/22875598.
My obs of Sepia apama catching Trachurus novaezelandiae is at https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/60030965
Hi @cubesy. Thank you very much to directing me to the observation of the darter and for adding it as new observation of the fish. Much appreciated. :) I've add the new observation to my list of fish/predator interactions.
Hi @kalimata. Apologies for the confusion. ray-finned fishes is fine. Thanks again. :)
Thank you @wamoz. I missed that one. It's now on the list. :)
Awesome observation @dentrock. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I've added it to my list of fish predators and also added "cuttlefish" to this blog post. :)
