hmmmm! What am I doing wrong? When I put in Rockingham, VT, I see all my pins near my house, but there should be pins all over the area, since Herrick's Cove is in Rockingham and Minards Pond etc
I figured it out!! Rockingham has SO many more obs than Woodstock, so once I clicked on "view more observations:, then the pins were all over the Rockingham map! Great feature! I love it.
Glad it works for you. Wait one darn second though, Woodstock has 5,963 observations and Rockingham has 2,767. Haha.
You bring up a good point. Since this video help is a few years old, the new search page has been updated. So you can go here: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations?project_id=558&place_id=any&verifiable=any&captive=any and then change the location to any town in Vermont at the top, and then hit search. That works too.
On your original video, there wasn't many pins in Woodstock!
Forget observations, it's quality not quantity! Rockingham has 1211 species, Woodstock has 1220 - the race is on!!
