I'm an aquatic invasive species biologist working for Fisheries and Oceans Canada in Nanaimo, with a passion for marine invertebrates and mushrooms! I have been Iding fungi for a number of years now and have found over 200 sps on Van Isle, and I still love learning as I go along and gain experience. Marine invert ID has been a more recent passion of mine and I have taken several courses on marine invertebrates of the PNW, bought a crap load of ID books, and snorkel with other biologists, sharing info. Of course nudibranchs are my personal favourite but that goes without saying.
