I studied in England, receiving a BSc in Environmental Biology, MSc in Applied Entomology, and a PhD in Entomology. After five years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Riverside, I moved to my current position. I work for the California Department of Food and Agriculture to produce beneficial insects for the control of pests like the Asian citrus psyllid and the glassy-winged sharpshooter. I live in Riverside, California, beside the Box Springs Preserve and am blessed with wildlife all around, from bobcats and donkeys to roadrunners and quails.
