淡水魚、淡水貝類、陸産貝類、昆虫（水生昆虫、直翅類など）の生物相や生態、それらの保全について研究しています。また、自然史情報の集約の場や市民科学の基点としての博物館の役割についても博物館学的視点からアプローチしています。趣味は自然観察や写真撮影（生物、風景、鉄道）。

I'm conducting research primarily focused on the biota and ecology of freshwater fish, freshwater mollusks, land snails, and their conservation. Furthermore, I approach the role of museums as centers for aggregating natural history information and as foundational points for citizen science from a museum studies perspective.
