I have always been passionate about the natural world and photography. Have lived now in Tasmania for over 30 years, where I can indulge my love of the bush, it's inhabitants and remote places. I have been a 'Field Naturalist' for decades, and organise the walks and talks, another venue to be exposed to all sorts of scientists, both members and Speakers. I love remote places and volunteer with Friends of Tasman Island where I have enthused members interest in the spiders and insects there. Simply a passionate observer, I do have a special interest in spiders, which is expanding to more and more insects generally.
