Until I retired in 2016 I was the natural community ecologist at the Massachusetts Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program/Division of Fisheries & Wildlife with the mandate to classify natural communities state wide. Since then I've focused more locally on plants and natural communities in north central Massachusetts.
