I'm a parasitologist, often found gazing down a microscope, now trying to better capture the macroverse. I am privileged to be able travel as part of my research, and reasonably regularly back 'home' to Australia from where I currently live in North America. Myxozoa are my area of specialization, but my interests cover Mars science, visual arts, science fiction and the search for room temperature superconductors.
