I am currently enrolled as a PhD student in Botany at the University of the Free State, focusing on the plant-soil interaction of plant communities in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park.

Recently, I obtained my MSc degree in Botany with a focus on plant-soil interaction. My true passion lies in Phytogeography and Environmental Rehabilitation and Conservation.

In 2018, I completed my BSc Honours in Environmental Sciences with Advanced Plant Ecology as extra module. It is during my Honours studies that I found a great love for Ecology. I also completed my BSc in Geography and Environmental Sciences in 2017.

I was a part-time junior lecturer in Environmental Sustainability at the University of the Free State and a Botany tutor. I also have administrative experience as an office assistant in the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of the Free State.
