I taught elementary school for thirty one years. Most of those years were spent teaching first grade. I enjoyed sharing Monarchs with my students and continue to share them with schools and others in my community and beyond. My Monarch ventures have allowed me to branch out and meet others who have inspired me to explore nature beyond Monarchs. I am a newbie to I Naturalist and am enjoying trying it out. My inspiration to venture out comes from a Naturalist who is not new to INaturalist. I appreciate Mellok and all she does for communities and her willingness to help me learn.
