I've continued my data base when PC's became available, mostly for our Cetaceans and the occasional shark. Moved to Dana Bay in 1999. I'm trying to keep individual Southern Right Whale databases. The individual ID's are difficult as I basically have only the white markings to ID them with and have to wait for a breach or a simple roll. I only do land-based sightings, so it's difficult but utterly rewarding seeing one of "my" whales arrive with a calf in tow! So, I could say this is my passion. Over the years I've included birds and plants.
