I'm a musicologist and college professor who spends much of his retirement time birding and doing photographer. I've always been interested in nature, and a Minnesota Master Naturalist class several years ago revealed to me just how much I didn't know. I'm glad to have iNaturalist to consult for trying to identify things that I see when out in the field. I've birded throughout Minnesota, in more than have of the US states, and in a number of other countries as well.
