I've always had a strong interest in nature but unfortunately worked in a different field. I'm lucky to have been retired for 25 years now and have enjoyed a number of nature related hobbies since. Among them bird and plant photography, hiking, canoeing, fly fishing and tying and microscopy. This latter hobby was given a boost with the recent acquisition of a DIC microscope.
