I began loving the natural world as a child when I explored the Menominee River near our home in Wisconsin. Now as an adult, I've fallen in love with hiking and camping and identifying wildlife as we go. I love gardening, though I'm a relative new comer. Most recently we have relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico and I'm getting to know a whole new ecosystem. As a way to get to know the area, I'm part of a Master Naturalist class through Bernalillo County. It's fantastic!
