I am a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor's in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Environmental Biology. I have been a member of the Virginia Herpetological Society since 2016 and have conducted salamander population projects throughout the George Washington National Forest in Virginia as well as conducting ecological research overseas in Borneo, as well as working with leatherback sea turtle researchers in St. Croix, USVI. I have been passionate about animals and science from a young age and have worked as an animal educator for local K-12 communities in Harrisonburg, VA and across Northern Virginia. I am also trained in lab animal husbandry, exotic animal keeping, and was supervisor of reptile husbandry for JMU's Herpetological Outreach Program from 2016-2017. Currently I am a certified stream monitor for the Virginia Save our Streams Program and Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy.

My hobbies include herping, hiking, kayaking, camping, traveling, nature photography, and volunteering!
