I started backyard birdwatching in 2019 and became fascinated by migrating birds that would visit my yard. I then began to transform my yard from cookie-cutter Bermuda grass, into native plants and water features that different species can use. Since then, I have tried to document everything I can in order to show other people the impact they can have on the environment by creating native habitats in their own yards.
