Third Nature Walk - Reservoir

Wow! This week's nature walk was much needed. After a long and exhausting week, I went for a walk around the RES, where I collected pictures of various plants and saw so many dogs. The weather was super lovely, around ~70-71 degrees and sunny (4 PM). Before my walk, I felt a bit stressed with all the work and exams coming up, but all that vanished after the first 20 minutes. I'm always taking pictures of plants (flowers), so I spent a long time out there looking for these plants/flowers. It was a good refresher before getting back to studying.

Nature walk 2 - Discovering Fungi

For this week's Nature walk, I went around BC, the Reservoir, and some ponds around the area. I saw some other students taking pictures for some of my photographs, and it reminded me, so I kept taking pictures throughout my days. For the first day, the weather was chill, somewhat rainy. However, it was nice out, sunny (around 71 degrees) for the rest of the images. Instead of just walking on trial paths or already paved paths, I had to cut through some plants and dirt to get the pictures I needed. Additionally, for this week, I had three of my friends come along while I completed the assignment. We had a great time.

Nature walk in Brockton 09/29/2021

This week, I went home (Brockton) twice and had a fantastic time exploring nature. The weather was somewhat cold yet enjoyable. I had a lovely afternoon walk, a little bit before sunset, where I collected pictures of some flowers and plants around the area. I've become familiar with the site as I used to walk around there, and only now did I pay attention to some of these beautiful flours and birds (yeah, a lot of them).
Some of these plants look very familiar from when I was a kid. I used to play with them in Cape Verde, and some would make my hands itchy afterward. Some of these plants have spread, and they usually occupy a lot of space. They may be in front of you, but the roots will be a great distance from where you stand.
Looking forward to going back and exploring some more
