Almost hidden; on buried wood. Spores: 3.7 x 4.9 with one drop. They turned yellowish with Meltzer. KOH negative. 1-3 pores per mm. Cap is soft. Polypore feels spongy and light weight. Pores have a tinge of pink tone. Mixed woods. Pine Barrens.
