Found in silty mud, under about 1” of water. Mesial webbing more prominent between toes 3 & 4 than 1 & 2. Toes smoother sided with less bulbous pads than I’d expect in a turkey. Hallux is not prominent.

I believe this is a secondary from a hooded merganser or bufflehead, but I’m struggling to determine a perfect match between them.
Mallard, hooded merganser, bufflehead, and ring-necked ducks are most likely given their consistent presence at this pond.
