White form of Cypripedium acaule
This is a scan of an old print from film. I don't have the exact date, but I believe the year was 1997, and the month was June.

This was about the bee. I reported the plant separately
Dead, laying in vegetation ~5 feet deep
Small tree, perhaps 3" trunk. Some leaves were unusually large. No mature trees noted in the area. Deeply furrowed bark of mature trees is distinctive.
