Heard this dove's song half a parking lot away as it got carried in the wind. Eventually I spotted its perch at the far end of the parking lot. It was able to find one of the tops of the high perches (light posts) because most of the tops of said light posts have been manipulated by the grocery store giant in such a way as to prevent birds from perching atop them. The bird was preening and singing its iconic song.
