Common along roadside wildflowers in April. (On buttercup in photo above). Very active and swift flyers. Could see bright yellow underwing with black dots near outside edge and larger golden circle outlined with dark O in middle of underside.
Found in pasture field
IDed as Northern Crescent due to having no postmedian band but difficult to differentiate from Pearl Crescent.
Orange hidden on wings, large size just slightly smaller than a monarch.
