Common Name is Ruby Bonnet.
The bright red cap of this mushroom is about 2 cm diameter, initially convex, it flattens as it matures, so that the centre is depressed, margins are striate. The gills are paler than the cap. Stem to 4 cm long, slender to 0.5 cm wide, sticky or slimy when wet as is the cap. Usually found in small groups attached to wood with some whitish mycelium at base.
