The heron was hunting and then ate a mole. After the meal was swallowed it walked a bit further into the center of the field.
Fluffy white growths appeared on a decaying log in garden after some rainy days. The biggest on the photo was 16mm across, the smallest 6mm, but there were even smaller ones few mm wide. Those were spherical with a dark spot. The photos show a top view, side view and from below, with gills visible on the bigger specimens.
Harassment in the skies. Heard the gull and saw the commotion, a falcon being chased by crows and a seagull. Seagull flew off after a bit but the crows continued to harass the falcon which flew off heading south-east.

Light brown mushrooms with convex caps, some of which had been nibbled. Misshapen due to growing over and against each other. The one I looked at had no normal gills and a short yellow smooth stem. Found growing in clusters on a grassed pavement, not near or on visible dead wood.
Bird of prey is similar in size to the Pied Crow (length 50cm). Long bare yellow looking legs, long blunt tail.I think I see a white patch on chin. The rest of the bird is dark, silhoutted against the morning sun.Maybe it has caught something white.
Male and female with eggs in a pot plant base with water in it. Male had been clicking in the back garden for some days now, I'd say he got noticed.
Four geese in total on the field but one was not welcomed by the others and was actively chased off. That one flew off a bit and stayed at a distance while the other three rested and preened themselves. Later they flew off together but making noises at the leading goose.
Goose preening itself
Was pointed out that I have more than one species observed in flight.

Spotted each other at the same time I think.
I am so happy to see one here again. Last time I saw one was years back when I was in primary school.
Spotted after heavy rainfall last night and most of this morning!
