Favoritos de chaparralbees

Didn't get a solid look at the bees, but seemingly so based on nesting behavior, past observations in this area, and nearby Prickly Pears in abundance just a few feet away.

My first experience observing one of these bees. It was in the act of cutting leaf sections.
