The crows and a pair of red shouldered hawks drew our attention to the owl. They were going bonkers. I thought it would be a GHO. I was very surprised. It seems this area is the far Northern tip of a coastal patch of their territory. It stayed around long enough to be photographed, then flew briefly to a couple other trees before moving on to another property.
