August 6th, 2020 (Thursday) 9:30-11:00 am: no newts today! This is the 11th week with no newts.
It was cold, cloudy at first, cleared out later.
Other roadkills - a few wasps, and a tiny fence lizard.
Coverage: north part - the county park parking lot till the second stop sign.
Traffic: 4 trucks (including a large double-truck that was driving on the road past the quarry, and a UPS truck), 64 cars, 12 bikes, 5 pedestrians.
The rowing club was open. All county park parking lots were open.
