I forgot to write a journal post...
July 29th, 2020 (Wednesday) around 9:30-11:00 am: no newts today! This is the 10th week with no newts.
Other roadkills - a few insects - flies, wasps, bees, a caterpillar, and a beetle. Also saw a yellowjacket carrying a dead Ashy Gray Lady Beetle on the road - my first observation of that species :)
Coverage: north part - the county park parking lot till the second stop sign.
Traffic: 7 trucks, 63 cars, 23 bikes, 19 pedestrians, 2 dogs.
The rowing club was open. All county park parking lots were open.
