One Swallow makes a Summer. But lots of other plants and animals migrate or flower or produce leaves, and there is a wealth of information in their emergence and disappearance times.

Unlike Europe and North America where everything is dominated by the appearance and disappearance of the sun, on our region it is drought and rain that governs our cycles.
