Hi fish-fans,
Australasian fishes has been online now for 2 months. In that time 140 members have contributed over 3400 observations. We now have coverage of 950 species! Well done everybody. We are building a terrific resource. There is much to be done but the groundwork is well and truly laid.

Cheers Mark and Sascha for all id's. Please bare with me re locations as my main computer is in work shop and I am still trying to learn how to drive these so called Smart Phones! :-):-):-)
P.S. If u havnt guessed already I am a fisho, however I am a responsible one. All out of season and undersized fish are returned after a Quick photo and info taken for the Brag mat:-):-):-)

Hi @geoff69 , nice to have you onboard. I'm a spearo, including comp diving but I do a bit of linefishing when the water's too dirty.
And @markmcg, suggestion for a name for the project to include NZ: "Australian territorial fishes" or "possibly more likely "AU/NZ Fish ID"?
