I'm a generalist when it comes to my knowledge of nature, so it's only safe to say that I know a little bit about a lot of things. I'm a geologist and ecological designer by training and currently work as the Technical Assistance Coordinator with the Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program (within the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation). I'm currently studying roadside vegetated communities to help Vermont towns become better stewards of their roadside forests. I also happen to like looking at maps, walking in the woods, and discussing why people choose to live on the land how they do.
