On my car window when I got home. No clear black spots like a regular ladybug…it almost looks like what would be black spots are smudged on the shell. Maybe it is just a weird ladybug!

Beaten from a Syzygium paniculatum hedge, on Koraha Rd.
We noticed a major emergence of these minute drain/moth flies late in the evening. About 20 to 30 emerged from a bathroom sink. I collected one and photographed it with a small inexpensive digital microscope on May 3. The black lines on the grid paper are 5 mm apart. Calculated measurements: FW length 2 mm. Body length about 2.2 to 2.5 mm (difficult to gage becuase the head is bent downward). Most images show only the underside of the left or right wing. The 2nd image shows a portion of the upper side of the right wing.
The last image show the upperside of the left wing.
