This Extraordinary Project we've built Together
New Year's Greetings for 2021. Perhaps because we all stayed home in 2020, or perhaps more people took the time to learn iNaturalist, the project grew. As you can see, we are on the verge of 400,000 observations and 8,000 total species. We just passed the 300,000 mark in April 2020, so this is very fast growth; the increase in observers over 2020 is almost 25%. Just incredible - and with that comes more and more granular specificity about the natural life of our dear home.
