I have been interested in California native plants since my youth. I currently volunteer at the Mission Blue Native Plant nursery which provides restoration services for San Bruno Mountain in the northern part of San Mateo County, California. In my home garden in San Mateo by the bay I have created an ecology for native bees and birds that is very pleasant for people as well. I am currently trying to learn more about grasses.
