Hi! I'm an amateur naturalist in high school. I have a love for birds of prey, especially hawks. Most of my identifications are for Red-tailed, Red-shouldered, and Broad-Winged Hawks. However, I identify other species such as vultures, owls, and condors as well.

I've been identifying birds for more than a year and have only recently begun identifying certain species. However, I'm learning more every day, so if I make a mistake, please inform me! I speak English and Spanish but may use a translator on occasion. Please forgive me for any bad grammar.

Feel free to tag me to ID your Buteo observations and I’ll try my best. If you feel that my IDs are wrong, please add a comment to the ID or send me a message.

In addition to my love of biology, I'm also interested in genetics and evolution. I also love art, so I may occasionally post some field sketches. If you're interested, you can check out this project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/nature-drawing-and-journaling

I got my first birdfeeders in December 2023, and have been obsessed ever since. A lot of my observation are for the birds that visit my feeder, and I've even named some of them. If you don't own a birdfeeder, I really recommend it! I've spent literal hours doing nothing but stare at the birds.

If you'd like to use any of my photos (though I don't know why you would, most are just taken on my smartphone), please send me a message. I'd love to know what you'd be using it for!
