Vertebrate zoologist at The Nature Conservancy of Texas (http://nature.org) for the 18 years prior to retiring in 2019. My wife, 3 cats, and I travel and live in our RV during the warmer months, taking photos of organisms and places along the way. Currently near Sam Rayburn Lake in Jasper County, TX, for the winter. We are living in an area conservationist call "the Longleaf Ridge Conservation Area," which is a hot spot of biodiversity and home to a number of rare and endangered species and communities.
