I am a professional botanist, currently with a foot on either side of the Tasman. I am especially interested in bryophyte diversity and evolution, particularly as those themes pertain to the complexities of species circumscription, and understanding form. I also maintain a general interest in plants, including orchids and ferns. I was a Research Scientist at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney until December 2021, but my research is now a pursuit of passion alone. I have joined iNaturalist to share some of the more interesting things I see with an interested community, to enjoy interesting things other people see, and to share some of the knowledge I've gained over the years.
