I've been that animal kid since age 5...Bringing home every bug, bird, critter I could find. Mostly I am a bird guy, but I am a well rounded biologist in most disciplines. Areas of interest are: Birds of all kinds; Island speciation; Island Extinction; Endangered Species and their recovery.
I've worked for Brookfield Zoo, Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Museum, NMSU Museum, Corpus Christi Museum. I've done research in the field in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Mexico. Our teams discovered 3 new species of birds and 2 new species of mammals. I have prepared about 1,000 Bird specimens for museum around the world.
