I found a pair of diving ducks just downstream from the dam. One was obviously a female Bufflehead but I haven't been able to identify the other. Could it be a female Black Scoter? Or a slightly different Bufflehead?

It was exciting to hear and then finally see a singal Inca Dove. I have not observed this species in the area for several years. There was only one individual detected. It was singing and I hope it finds a companion!
