Japanese Pachysandra

This plant is low to the ground. It has spread over the area within 3 years. The leaves are hardy and shiny. I want to go and measure the height for the plant and also pay closer attention to the leaves.

Descripción

This plant grows in shady areas. Low to the ground. It is difficult to remove and destroy. I learned that it takes about 3 years to kill it once it’s roots are well developed underground. It can go into the wild areas and take over native species. I know first hand this is true because I have tried to remove it from my back yard near a rock wall. Learning so much from my own back yard.
