For my third iNaturalist walk, I decided to walk around the little forest next to the Plex because I've gone on walks there and knew how diverse the plants are. The weather was very nice! A little chilly, but super sunny and warm. I was even hot at times and on the verge of sweating. Because of the seasons changing, there were a lot of really pretty, colorful leaves. Many leaves were on the ground because they had fallen from the trees. There were less bugs flying around than the last time I walked around there, probably because the weather is getting cooler. I was having a very stressful day so It was nice to take time and step back and enjoy nature in all of its beauty.

I was walking from my dorm to the Chesnut Hill Res, the weather was very warm, around 70 degrees F. I saw lots of grass, trees, insects, animals, and plants. The landscaped lawns of BC wasn't very appealing to me, so I made the trip down to Lower Campus. The Res was as beautiful as usual, and I watched the sun set. Many of the organisms around it had grown because of the damp environment.The squirrel pictures was running with an acorn in its mouth. I also came across a tree with fungi on it, unfortunately the only fungi I was able to find in the area.

I did this nature walk around the Res, looking for unique biodiversity or just organisms that I don't regularly interact with. On this day, the weather was really cold, around 50 degrees F. Being by the water made it even colder, due to the wind and just the water in general. As I walked around the Res, I saw lots of biodiversity with animals, insects, fungi, and plants. It was very interesting to watch it all interact as an observer and take note of the organisms that I found cool.
