It was mostly sunny when I was walking around, but there were some patches of clouds at times. I wasn't able to find many wild plants but there were some weeds growing through cracks in the asphalt. I was able to identify a dandelion because they're very common and have distinctive leaves. Dandelions are angiosperms, or flowering plants. I has saw plants I could identify as well but they appeared to have buds or flowers, so they were likely angiosperms as well. I saw a few rabbits on campus, as well as a large flock of geese near the reservoir.

I wasn't able to find fungi or many other species at all unfortunately. It was warmer than it has been lately, and partly cloudy. I was disappointed I couldn't find any fungi because I didn't have enough time to go to a more natural place, and the campus has generally low biodiversity. I think it would be interesting to see more mushrooms around because I used to see a lot of fungi in my backyard, since I lived near some woods.

I didn't have a lot of time to go on this nature walk so I hoped that I would be able to identify wild species nearby where I had to go. The weather was warm for fall and it was at times very sunny and cloudy at other times. I found a chipmunk and a squirrel, then saw a green insect I couldn't identify on a friend's bag. I also saw some type of dragonfly, although I couldn't make out the color. I also saw a few turkeys, which I was hoping to find because I've seen them often in that area. I realized that though our campus is very green and has a lot of plants and trees, the biodiversity is not very high because almost everything is cultivated. Aside from mammal and bird species that have adapted to living near humans, most of the animal life that can be found here comprises of insects. There were many bees and butterflies that I saw but was not able to get a picture of.
